Set in 35 acres of the rolling Yorkshire Wolds Countryside, Monckton Shooting Ground is the most natural settings for a Clay Pigeon Shooting Ground in the UK.
Monckton Shooting Ground is an established family run business with an informal atmosphere, incorporating a Superior Clay Pigeon Layout, an AMCA approved Motocross Track, we also have our own Country Clothing and Shooting Accessory Store on the grounds.
The natural setting of the traps means that practice here is time well spent when you're back in the field.
The ground comprises of a High Tower, Compak Layout, Grouse Flush, DTL, Springing Teal and Bolting Rabbit. The traps are carefully located around the valley's to simulate Bolting Rabbit, Grouse, High Pheasant, Partridge and Pigeon. The layout suits all standards of shots, easily taking the expert to the limit of his capability.
Clay Pigeon Shooting Tuition is available with the grounds proprietor Mike Jackson.
Beginners are most welcome, group bookings available for Birthdays etc. Team building events/corporate parties are catered for.
Monckton Shooting Ground has on site a Country Clothing and Shooting Accessory Store, offering high quality shooting and country wear, stockists of; Aigle, Beretta, Bisley, Browning, Garlands, Jack Murphy, Jack Orton, Hunter, Quiltknit, Le-Chameau and more
Gift Vouchers are available in store.
There is no restrictions on cartridges, however fibre is preferred. We sell a wide range of the most popular brands of cartridges.
All equipment can be provided for Clay Pigoen Shooting, the grounds are open 7 days a week, from 9am till dusk.
Monckton Shooting Ground's Jewel in the Crown is one of the highest towers in the Country standing over 160ft come and see for yourself!
