The track lies in a 15 acre field of rolling hills. It's length is approximately 1.5 miles. It incorporates various sizes of jumps, with some good table tops and high banking on the corners for added traction out of the bends. All protective clothing including helmets MUST be worn whilst the bikes are in use.

There is a Childrens / Beginners track for motocross bikes. This smaller track gives all novices a chance to practice and gain confidence in the field. This track helps riders to have control of there bikes enabling them to stop and start, steer the bike, increase and decrease in their speed. There is also a small jump for them to go over which helps them build up confidence before they go on the main track. There is a route past the jump if someone decides they dont want to go over it. All children and beginners MUST wear all the protective clothing and helmets whilst the bikes are in use. Riders must follow in the same direction as others using the track

Monckton Shooting Grounds Track hosts race meetings throughout the year for clubs in the area in line with the AMCA rules, please click here to see the events page for up coming race meets.
